Discover Rates

Short Answer: KFI advertisers usually spend $5,000 - $10,000 per week and KTLK advertisers spend closer to $2000/week. There are also several Internet Advertising options in the area of $2,000 per week as well. As with anything else, there are exceptions to these estimates. Longer Answer: It depends. Our stations do not have a consistent rate card because rates are set based on the current status of our inventory. Building an ad schedule is similar to building a house. What you spend depends on what you're looking for in return. For instance, a million dollars gets you into a pretty nice neighborhood, but don't expect a palace for $10,000. Anyone can afford some amount of radio advertising. It comes down to what you need your ads to accomplish, your budget, your ability to wait for results, and the effectiveness of your ad copy. If you scale your expectations properly, you can probably do radio for a few thousand dollars per week. But you may have to move to the other side of the tracks to get started.
